IMPORTANT INFORMATION: flights canceled due to fog on June 30 and July 1

30/06/2018

Aerolíneas Argentinas informs that, due to weather conditions, most flights for today and tomorrow have been canceled. This is due to the fog that caused the closing of operations in the Airport of the city of Buenos Aires. The company requests passengers not to go to the airports and to check the status of their flights in advance.

The fog enveloping the city of Buenos Aires caused the closing of the Jorge Newbery Airport, which later resulted in a congestion of the Ezeiza airport. Therefore, Aerolíneas has decided to cancel most of its operations until tomorrow, Sunday, July 1 at 4 PM.
Many flights were canceled or delayed waiting for operations to return to normal, in both Buenos Aires and the rest of the country. Between today and tomorrow, around 30,000 passengers may be affected by these circumstances. The weather forecast shows that the situation may improve by tomorrow afternoon.

Affected passengers may request the refund of tickets through the same channels used to purchase them or request a change without charging any fee within the following 10 days. The company will relocate the passengers as soon as weather conditions allow it.
Aerolíneas requests that its passengers check the status of their flights at 0810-222-86527 and pay attention to the contact information, phone and email they provided when purchasing the tickets.

The company is sorry for any inconvenience that these circumstances beyond its control may cause to the passengers.
