26/10/2020

With the departures of today’s flights to Jujuy, Mendoza, Ushuaia and Tucumán, the company began the operation of its scheduled flights.

Tomorrow, flights will be operated to Mendoza, Córdoba and Salta. On Saturday, a flight will be operated to Trelew and on Sunday, flights will be departing to Bahía Blanca, Mendoza, Córdoba, Resistencia, Mar del Plata and Salta.

In addition, between today and tomorrow, flights to Santiago de Chile, Sao Paulo and Miami are scheduled for departure.

In the aggregate, taking into account all inbound and outbound flights of all scheduled destinations during the first 48 hours, over 2,500 people will have travelled onboard Aerolíneas Argentinas flights, at an average occupancy rate of 70%.

“Although we never stopped flying, we are happy to be able to operate regular flights again. We hope that resuming operations proves beneficial to both passengers who need our air transport services and to the company,” stated Pablo Ceriani.

The company has requested passengers to comply with all the documentation required and to download the CUIDAR app on their phones to simplify checks both at departure and arrival. It is essential for passengers to have the relevant documentation to access the passenger hall, since failure to submit such documents will prevent them from boarding their flight.

Furthermore, the company is working to schedule flights to destinations which have set up PCR or testing controls such as Bariloche, Neuquén, Corrientes, Posadas or Iguazú, among others. Likewise, flights will start to be operated to San Juan, Comodoro Rivadavia and Catamarca during next week.

Other destinations such as El Calafate, Rosario, Santa Fe and Río Grande will follow suit in early November.

The company will upload the flight schedule on its website in the next few hours so that passengers may check the status of their flights and the specific requirements of each destination.
