Barcelona, Cancun, Bahia and Bogota: more Aerolíneas Argentinas special flights

May 8, 2020 – Aerolíneas Argentinas announced 4 new flights within the framework of its special operation.

The first flight, to Barcelona, is scheduled to depart on May 12, carrying 243 Spanish citizens on the outbound segment, and it will return to the country on May 14 with the same number of Argentine citizens. It is the second special flight to Barcelona, which has not been part of the regular operation of Aerolíneas Argentinas since February 2018.

A new flight to and from Cancun has been confirmed for May 17, which will carry Mexican citizens on the outbound segment and will return the following day with 243 stranded Argentine citizens.

Regarding the regional special operations, a new flight to Salvador de Bahía was confirmed for May 12, which will also carry Brazilian citizens, and another flight to Bogotá was confirmed for May 14. The latter will only carry Argentine citizens back to our country.

These 4 new flights are in addition to the 67 special flights already operated by the company to international destinations, which have allowed for the return to the country of more than 20,000 Argentine citizens stranded abroad.

The company has requested all of its passengers to comply with the health protocols and to wear a surgical mask or a face mask mandatorily at all times upon arrival at the airport.

It is worth mentioning that three special flights carrying more than 650 Argentine passengers from London, Miami and São Paulo will return to our country today.
