March 3, 2020 – Today, Aerolíneas Argentinas revealed its new logo for its 70-year anniversary.
The new image has a bold and retro-inspired number 70. In the same vein, the dark blue color used by the company in its first years was chosen. The number 70 is accompanied by a condor (historical emblem of the company) in the current color scheme, thus mixing the past and the present of Aerolíneas Argentinas.
During the year, Aerolíneas Argentinas will carry out multiple activities focused on the company’s history from its origins and up to the present time. They will all include the hashtag #Aerolineas70años.
Based on the greatest milestones of the company over time and the iconography of each period, the new campaign will contain more than one surprise and special announcements throughout the year.
The company was established on December 7, 1950, through executive order 9358/45 signed by President Juan Domingo Perón and as a result of the merger of ALFA, FAMA, Zonda and Aeroposta (the so-called “aerolíneas argentinas”).
“As with the executive order that set forth the basis of a truly federal aviation and commercial policy and that prioritized domestic companies, our challenge today is to endeavor to recover Aerolíneas Argentinas for all the Argentine people and to contribute with the productive and economic development of the country,” explained Pablo Ceriani, President of Aerolíneas Argentinas.
It is worth mentioning that last week Aerolíneas Argentinas launched its new domestic schedule with over 40 increases in flight frequencies and three new routes: San Pablo – Bariloche, Mendoza – Bariloche and Resistencia – Iguazú. New flights to and from Madrid and New York had also been previously announced.
