Buenos Aires, June 8, 2017. - Aerolíneas Argentinas and the Instituto de Previsión Social of the Province of Buenos Aires (IPS) signed an agreement that provides benefits to retirees and pensioners for traveling to all destinations in the country served by the flag carrier.

This way retirees of the province will have a 30% discount on the prices published by the Aerolineas Group on flights to 37 domestic destinations served by Aerolíneas Argentinas.

The agreement was signed by the head of the provincial body, Christian Gribaudo and the Aerolíneas Group Sales Manager, Diego García.

During the signing, García said, "we seek to bring retirees closer to this means of transport that is increasingly accessible, so they can travel the country. The agreements with IPS and ANSES are very important for our company because they enable us to stimulate demand and approach the objective of making substantially grow the number of passengers in the domestic market during the next years. Thanks to the agreement with ANSES more than 50,000 retirees and pensioners have already traveled through the country, from October to date”

For his part, IPS President Christian Gribaudo commented: "We are very pleased to have achieved this benefit for IPS retirees. This agreement adds one more tool so that retirees in the province of Buenos Aires have an active life”

This benefit program aims to boost the traffic outside the winter season or long weekends, taking advantage of the fact that they are people who have greater availability to travel at any time of the year and any day of the week. The discount for retirees is offered on flights from Monday to Thursday and the beneficiaries will be able to access a presale (minimum seven days), with minimum stay of two nights;  maximum stay 14 nights, through the website www.aerolineas.com.ar/ips, by entering their CUIL number so that IPS can validate the data.

In addition to promoting and developing tourism within the country, this agreement will make more retirees and pensioners may have access to tourist or recreational destinations through Aerolíneas Argentinas flights.
