Aerolineas Group continues to grow

After having reached its historical record of passengers carried in January, Aerolíneas had the best February in its history in terms of number of passengers transported. This month showed a 25% increase in passengers compared to 2015 and a continuous and sustained improvement in seat occupancy.

At the end of February, the Aerolíneas Group reported solid operational results, carrying 1,015,481 passengers, 25% more than in 2015 and 4.4% more than in February. 2016. The growth in absolute values ​​was 202,834 more passengers compared to 2015 and 42,982 more passengers compared to 2016. The network that grew the most was regional flights with 40% more passengers than in 2015 and 11 % more than in 2016. There was also a historical record of passengers carried in a single day with 40,481 people who flew across the whole network on Friday, February 24.

Flight occupancy continues to grow. During February it was 84%, that is, 2.9 points over 2016 and 3.8 points over 2015. These results were achieved with very good levels of punctuality, registering during the month of February an average of 87%, 2 points above the 2016 mark and 5 points above the 2015 mark. Already throughout 2016 Aerolineas Argentinas was among the 20 most punctual traditional companies in the world, according to the annual report of the air travel intelligence company OAG.
