Baggage

" "

On all our flights, you can carry one (1) personal item of up to 3 kg free of charge and, depending on the purchased fare, you may also carry one (1) carry-on bag of up to 8 kg in domestic flights and up to 10 kg in regional/international flights.

Please note:

  • Tickets issued through redemption of miles include one (1) personal item and one (1) carry-on bag as carry-on baggage.
  • Our promotional fares for flights within Argentina only allow one personal item of up to 3 kg free of charge and do not include a carry-on bag on the aircraft as part of the baggage allowance.
  • If you wish to bring a carry-on bag on board, you can do so by upgrading your ticket from the “MY BOOKING” section.

Personal item

It can be a backpack, a purse, a laptop bag, or a baby bag. We suggest that you include documents, medicines, and fragile and/or valuable items in your personal item, in compliance with the maximum baggage size and weight allowed. Only one personal item may be carried per passenger.

If you are in the front row or in the emergency exit, you must place the personal item in the overhead compartment.

Carry on

If it cannot be carried in the cabin due to space availability, it will be sent to the hold free of charge. Conversely, if your carry-on baggage exceeds the allowed size, weight or number of items, you will have the option to send it to the aircraft's hold at an additional cost.

Maximum baggage dimensions include pockets, wheels and handles. The bag must fit in the baggage sizer at the airport, otherwise it will be sent to the hold as checked baggage and the corresponding charge must be paid.

Notes:

  • If you have a flight operated by a SkyTeam member company, check the baggage conditions.
  • Children under 2 years old: without baggage allowance. They may only transport, free of charge, in the hold, a stroller/walker, folding stroller.
  • Children under 12 years of age: they are entitled to the same baggage allowance as the adult passenger.

Alcoholic beverages:

Alcoholic beverages are allowed to be transported, both in hand luggage and in checked luggage, within the allowed allowance, according to the fare purchased.

a- If your fare includes a baggage in the hold compartment, you can carry the bottles in your luggage –respecting the maximum weight allowed-; or, instead of the luggage, send a box of alcoholic beverages intended exclusively for this purpose (other items are not allowed to be included). In the latter case, if you check a box of drinks, it will be considered one piece of luggage and will deduct one piece from your luggage.

b- If your fare does not include checked baggage, you can transport them as additional baggage or excess baggage with the corresponding charges.

c- If the destination allows it (*), and if your fare allows you to bring a carry-on bag, you may either carry them inside the bag, or replace such carry-on bag with a beverage container, in any event, without exceeding the maximum weight allowed.

Conditions for the carriage of alcoholic beverages:

  • In the case of alcoholic beverages with less than 70% alcohol by volume, a maximum net quantity of 5 L is accepted per passenger, in containers of up to 1 L.
  • They cannot be opened or consumed on board.
  • This is only allowed for passengers over 18 years old.
  • They must be properly packaged so as to prevent leaks or spillage.

-*- Important: In regional and international destinations, more restrictive rules apply to the carriage of liquids on board (maximum milliliters allowed) —except for beverages purchased on duty-free shops.

We suggest checking the restrictions of the countries of origin/destination/connection on the entire route and visit the websites of their customs authorities to avoid any problems.
