Key information on the general strike that will take place on June 25

22/06/2018

Aerolíneas Argentinas is sorry to announce that it had to cancel all flights scheduled for Monday, June 25 due to a force majeure event: the strike organized by the Argentine General Labor Union (CGT, for its acronym in Spanish) to which aviation unions joined.

In order to avoid further inconvenience, the company has decided to advance the schedule of its flights of June 24 between 8 PM and 11:59 PM in order to ensure the proper provision of services to passengers traveling during such hours. Travelers who wish to return their tickets may do so through the same channel through which they purchased them. Also, passengers who wish to reschedule their flights for a date up to a period of 15 days as from the strike may do so with no restrictions, subject to seat availability.

The company suggests that changes and/or modifications of flight reservations be made before the day of the strike or during the succeeding days since customer service may also be affected during the strike.

Aerolíneas Argentinas requests its passengers not to show up at the airports during the day of the strike and reaffirms its commitment to connectivity and to provide the best services to its customers. If you have specific questions regarding your flight, please call 0810-222-86527.
