April 28, 2021 – Aerolíneas Argentinas has confirmed a new flight to Moscow to bring more doses of the Sputnik V vaccine. The cargo will

arrive next Friday at 4:30 p.m.

With flight number AR1064, the plane will depart at 2:00 a.m. on Thursday and land in the Sheremetyevo International Airport approximately

17 hours later. The return flight will be a non-stop 18-hour long flight operated on the Moscow-Buenos Aires route.

“This new departure is a nice way to end a week that included the operation of 4 flights of this type. Aerolíneas has the required operating

capacity, so that makes us the best logistics option to move forward with the vaccination schedule,” explained Pablo Ceriani, Presidente of

Aerolíneas Argentinas.

In addition, flight AR1051 from Beijing is arriving tomorrow afternoon with 1 million doses of the Sinopharm vaccine.

A total of 5,267,745 Sputnik V vaccines have been brought to the country in 12 different flights, while 2,659,200 Sinopharm vaccines have

arrived from Beijing so far in 4 flights. This means that, if we add tomorrow’s arrival from China, the total of vaccines carried by Aerolíneas

amounts to 8,926,945.
