19/10/2020

Aerolíneas Argentinas has announced its flight offer for the gradual resumption of operations, which will begin on Thursday 22 with the departure of the first regular flight scheduled for that day from Ezeiza to Jujuy.

After that, flights will be departing to Corrientes, Iguazú, Mendoza, San Luis and Ushuaia. On Friday, flights will depart to and from Córdoba, La Rioja, Salta, Resistencia, Posadas, Bariloche, Comodoro Rivadavia and Neuquén.

Flights to the remaining destinations will be gradually scheduled in the upcoming days. Similarly, the number of daily frequencies will be progressively increased according to demand.

It is worth mentioning that such flights are subject to the approval of the provincial authorities, who may cancel them if they deem it fit. Furthermore, each province sets forth specific entry requirements in addition to the general rules laid down by the aviation authorities.

On its website, the company has published a drop-down menu containing its scheduled flights listed by destination as well as the general boarding requirements: https://www.aerolineas.com.ar/landingsespeciales/landings/854_flights.

Passengers may apply for their travel permit at: https://www.argentina.gob.ar/circular.

Aerolíneas Argentinas has not stopped operating flights; in fact, it has operated a large number of “special” flights following a strict biosafety protocol in conformity with the health regulations and recommendations issued by national and international control entities. This has allowed the company to operate its flights with a high degree of efficiency and a near-zero disease transmission index among both passengers and staff.
