Aerolíneas Argentinas began operating two daily flights to Madrid

10/07/2019

A new daytime flight departing at 12:10 PM has been added to the usual flight departing at 11:55 PM. This means that the company now offers around 550 daily seats to travel to the capital of Spain.

Since June 2018, the company has been operating three more frequencies in addition to its daily flight, totaling 10 departures per week. In May 2019, two more flights were added, and today, the two other flights finally started being operated, thus offering two daily frequencies.

In a similar vein, last week Aerolíneas Argentinas announced the opening of a new international route, directly connecting Buenos Aires and Orlando. Three weekly frequencies will be offered during the Argentine summer season, from December 9 to March 21.

This flight adds to the 35 routes that Aerolíneas Argentinas has opened during the last three years. The company is currently operating 18 more routes than in 2015. The last international route that was added is the one connecting Córdoba and Punta Cana, which maiden flight took place on August 25, 2018. Out of the 12,940,000 passengers carried in 2018, 3,270,000 travelled to international destinations.
