Flights Affected between March 20 and March 23

21/03/2018

Aerolíneas Group informs that, due to force majeure events caused by adverse weather conditions during the past week, including hail and a strong thunderstorm, 15 Boeing 737 aircraft were affected, forcing the company to make changes in its operations.

Thirty-five flights scheduled in Wednesday, March 21 were cancelled, and other 49 flights were rescheduled, while 2 Aerolíneas services will be operated by Austral, and routes to Bariloche, El Calafate and Rio de Janeiro will be covered using intercontinental-fleet aircraft.

The company is undertaking the prompt repair of the damages suffered by 15 of its 81 aircraft. Some units are already ready to fly, but we are awaiting the clearance of the repairs performed, which may be obtained in the next hours.

At the same time, flight AR1300, with destination to the City of New York, and its respective return flight were cancelled yesterday due to adverse weather conditions at destination.

As a precaution and to prevent further inconveniences for its passengers, the company has suspended the sale of tickets until Sunday.
