14/01/2021

Another batch of 300,000 Sputnik V vaccines will be arriving in the country next Saturday at noon.

January 14, 2021 – Aerolíneas Argentinas’ A330 aircraft departed to Moscow at 9 p.m. tonight. The 17-hour flight will arrive

at Moscow- Sheremétievo International Airport to pick up another batch of 300,000 Sputnik V vaccines.

The aircraft will remain in Moscow for about 4 hours and a half to load the vaccines. Then, it will depart from Russia on January

15 at 11.55 p.m. landing in Ezeiza International Airport on Saturday, January 16, at 11.50 a.m.

Overall, the logistics of the operation will take 40 hours, taking into account the outbound flight, the loading time and the 18-hour

return trip: it will be the longest segment operated by the company as a non-stop flight.

“Aerolíneas plays a strategic role in the country’s connectivity, and now we also carry out this type of operation that we never

imagined we would have to undertake. Unpredictable events like these reaffirm the importance of having an airline that services the

Argentine people whenever they need it”, declared Pablo Ceriani, president of Aerolíneas Argentinas.

It is worth noting that the first batch of 300,000 Sputnik V vaccines arrived in the country on December 24 on flight 1060 of Aerolíneas

Argentinas.
