March 1, 2019.- In February, Aerolíneas Argentinas reached the highest punctuality record in its history, with 91.4 % of its flights departing on time. Additionally, the completion factor (flights performed vs. flights scheduled) was 99.57 %.

This new record is in line with the one achieved for 2018, throughout which the average punctuality was 87 %, an all-time record for the company. Moreover, the sky-high completion factor accounts for the reliability shown by the company’s operations.

It is worth remembering that, during 2018, Aerolíneas Argentinas on several occasions ranked at the top of the rankings prepared by Flighstats (one of the world’s most prestigious aviation statistics organizations) as the most punctual airline in the region and one of the top three in the world among airlines that connect more than two continents. Furthermore, in August, the company broke its own all-time record, reaching an average punctuality of 91 %.

Punctuality is a key value for the company, since it reinforces the quality of the services provided. It is, together with the significant variety of routes and frequencies offered —the greatest one in the country—, what comprises the high quality of the products provided by Aerolíneas Argentinas. These figures, in addition to operational safety, allowed the company to earn awards in 3 categories of the Travelers’ Choice Awards from TripAdvisor, a worldwide website specializing in travel information, in 2018: Best Latin American Airline, Best Latin American Business Class, and Best Latin American Economy Class.

In 2018, Aerolíneas also received recognition from APEX, another important award based on users’ ratings. The company was awarded 4 stars in the “Global Airlines” category, and thus became one of the 23 airlines that received this award, out of a total of 500 airlines rated.
