During this season, Aerolíneas Argentinas will be operating 42 weekly flights to Punta del Este, an average of 7 daily flights from Buenos Aires, Córdoba and Rosario.
December 18, 2018 - Aerolíneas Argentinas has presented its summer flights network for Punta del Este, together with a major federal flights offer from Córdoba, Rosario and Buenos Aires. There will be 7 daily flights to Punta del Este, which translates into 1,000 passengers per day during January and February.
The summer operation to Punta del Este begun formally today at 8:55 AM with the arrival of the AR1346 flight from Buenos Aires. The plane was received with the classic water salute used in the air industry for celebration purposes.
Aerolíneas Argentinas will operate 36 weekly flights from Buenos Aires (5 to 6 daily flights), 2 weekly flights from Rosario (Friday and Sunday) and 4 weekly flights from Córdoba (Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday). This last route connects Punta del Este to Córdoba’s Hub, the flight distribution center operated by the air company in the inland province that allows passengers to connect to more than 15 domestic destinations with minimum waiting time.
“We hope to have a great season in Uruguay, with a federal view since we will carry passengers from Rosario, Córdoba and Buenos Aires. This is part of Aerolíneas Argentinas DNA: not only to connect points inside the country, but throughout the region,” explained Francisco Chiari, Sales Manager of Aerolíneas Argentinas.
It is worth mentioning that for summer 2019 Aerolíneas Argentinas will offer a total of 3,000,000 seats to the main domestic and international holiday destinations, a 6 % increase when compared to last year’s offer.
