Buenos Aires, January 5, 2018.- Yesterday, Aerolíneas Argentinas and the Retirement and Pension Fund of Córdoba signed an agreement granting benefits for retirees to fly to any destination covered by the flag airline.
Retirees and pensioners within the Retirement and Pension Fund of Córdoba will thus enjoy a 30% discount on the published rates for flights to the 37 domestic destinations covered by Aerolíneas Argentinas. This agreement is in addition to the ones already signed between the flag airline and the Argentine Social Security Administration (ANSES), the Social Security Institute of Neuquén, the Social Security Institute of the Province of Buenos Aires, the Social Security and Insurance Institute of Chubut, the Retirement and Pension Fund of the Province of Santa Fe, the Coordinating Authority for Professional Retirement and Pension Funds of the Argentine Republic, the Retirement and Pension Fund of Tierra del Fuego and the Social Security, Insurance and Loan Institute of Chaco, as well as the retirement and pension fund of the province of Entre Ríos.
The agreement was signed by the President of the Retirement and Pension Fund of the Province of Córdoba, Mariano Méndez, and by the Chief Commercial Officer of the Aerolíneas Group, Diego García.
During the meeting for the execution of the agreement, Mr. García highlighted that “These agreements are very important for us since they allow us to gain more passengers every day. Retirees and pensioners from Córboba have a great flight offer thanks to our new hub, which operates in Córdoba since April 2017, which makes it possible to smoothly connect several cities in the north and south of our country, as well as Santiago de Chile, without touching Buenos Aires”.
This benefit program is aimed at promoting traffic outside the high season or long weekends, taking advantage of the fact that these are potential customers with more availability to travel at any time during the year, any day of the week. The discount is offered for flights from Monday to Thursday, and beneficiaries will be able to purchase their tickets in advance, at least seven days prior to the date of the flight, for a minimum stay of two nights and a maximum stay of 14 nights, through our website
www.aerolineas.com.ar/cajacordoba, entering their Worker Identification Number (CUIL) for the Retirement and Pension Fund to be able to validate their information.
As well as fostering and developing tourism within the Argentine territory, this agreement will allow more retirees and pensioners to have access to touristic or recreational destinations through flights operated by Aerolíneas Argentinas.
