By offering new connections, timetables, frequencies and changes of aircraft, the new proposal focuses on connecting the most demanded winter destinations with the most important cities of the country and the region.

All of these flights will be operated on Boeing 737-800 aircraft, with a seat configuration of 170 passengers.

During said season, Bariloche will also have a daily flight to and from Rosario.

Regarding the route Córdoba–Bariloche, it will be operated with 8 weekly frequencies, thus consolidating the growth of Córdoba’s HUB. Likewise, the route Bahía Blanca-Bariloche will be operated with 3 weekly frequencies during July and August, making it possible to connect Mar del Plata with Bariloche through the “Atlantic Corridor”. Moreover, the coastal city will also have daily flights to and from El Calafate, with 2 weekly frequencies which will be operated on Embraer-190 aircraft on Mondays and Saturdays.

During this season, conversely to the previous one, the route Bahía Blanca–Neuquén will be available, with 4 weekly frequencies.

Further important news include the incorporation of the route Córdoba–Chapelco, which will be operated with 2 weekly frequencies during the season, on Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Furthermore, there will be 3 daily flights operating the route Aeroparque-–Chapelco from Tuesdays through Thursdays, which represents a 18% increase in the number of seats offered during last year’s winter season.

As from July, there will be 5 weekly flights connecting Buenos Aires and Viedma, representing a 43% rise in the seats offered during 2017. In turn, there will be a daily flight to and from San Rafael.

In the case of Rosario, the departure time of the evening flight from Aeroparque will be modified so as to benefit the connection flight for those passengers coming from Chapelco.

As for the “Oil Corridor”, it is to highlight the incorporation of 3 intersegments which will be operated daily:

Mendoza–Neuquén; Comodoro Rivadavia–Neuquén and Mendoza–Comodoro Rivadavia.

These three routes will be operated on Embraer-190 aircraft, with a seat configuration of 96 passengers per flight.

The last news of the domestic network is that there will be 3 weekly flights connecting El Calafate with Ushuaia which will be operated on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays on board Embraer-190 aircraft.

As regards the regional network, the flight time schedule to and from San Pablo, Brazil, will benefit the connection with domestic destinations to and from Aeroparque. Therefore, passengers will be able to connect with Bariloche, Chapelco, Ushuaia, Mendoza and El Calafate.

“One of the main challenges of Aerolíneas Argentinas is making flying available for more Argentinians. Therefore, we planned the routes efficiently, selecting the most convenient schedules. The new proposal, which has a federal approach, improves connectivity between the most important cities of the country and the most visited vacation destinations of Argentina and the region”, affirmed Mario Dell’Acqua, President of Aerolíneas Group.

Moreover, these changes improve the flight experience by offering new options to the passengers. The changes of the aircraft fleet, as well as the new destinations and timetables, represent a key factor to offer a modern and competitive product, with a higher seat capacity and more space to carry even more passengers within our country and through the region.
