In line with similar agreements with companies and other entities, the agreement includes price reductions in tickets for domestic or international destinations.

Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, July 14, 2017. - With the presence of the Minister of Transport of the Nation, Guillermo Dietrich, the Aerolineas Group and the Argentine Football Association (AFA) -represented at the ceremony by their presidents Mario Dell'Acqua and Claudio Tapia respectively - made yesterday progress in an agreement to offer discounts on tickets for managers, referees and technical staff of all AFA’s categories.

The agreement provides for discounts of between 3% and 23% depending on the destination chosen on flights of the Aerolineas Group. This agreement is similar to that signed before with the National Basketball League and with other institutions or companies that demand a significant volume of plane tickets, and find in Aerolíneas the best option to cover all their air transport needs.

"This is one of the many commercial agreements the company has with clubs, to continue promoting football. For example, a few days ago, a C division club traveled by plane for the first time. It is part of the growth of Aerolíneas, of filling their planes, that more and more people choose it", said Guillermo Dietrich, Minister of Transport of the Nation

In this regard, Dell'Aqua said, "the agreement reinforces our commitment to football, a sport so dear to the vast majority of Argentines."

Like other agreements signed with institutions such as ANSES or the Instituto de Previsión Social de la Provincia de Buenos Aires - which also aim to benefit retirees and pensioners, these initiatives are part of the ambitious plan of Aerolíneas. It aims at offering better connectivity options within the country, the region and globally, through its codeshare flights and in conjunction with the airlines that make up the SkyTeam alliance.
