Buenos Aires, April, 21st, (Télam).- Aerolíneas Argentinas led the statistics on punctuality in the flights that operated at Aeroparque Jorge Newbery during the holidays corresponding to Holy Week, according to a report prepared by the Argentine Association of Law of Tourism (Aadetur).
The Aadetur report accounts for a total of 387 flights with destination to national airports that departed from Aeroparque during the four days of Holy Week, from which a 96% departed on time and there was no cancellation registered.
Within this schema, Aerolíneas Argentinas led the measurement with a 99% of punctuality, followed by Lan Argentina which reached a 90%.
Said analysis revealed additionally that there were a total of 12% more flights which departed than during the same period of 2013 and that the State company represented a 72% of the total of the departures from the airport from the City of Buenos Aires.
The Aadetur responsible, Mr. Diego Benítez, stated in the report that “from January, 2007 that the Aadetur measurements started, we have never had such a high level of fulfillment as regards schedules in the country, with such a big offer of flights and with a 75% of the flights arriving before the expected schedule".
