Aerolíneas Argentinas expands its domestic flight network

In addition to the 36 current destinations offered in the country by the flag carrier, new services are added to connect Río Cuarto with Buenos Aires and Cordoba and the latter with the city of Resistencia, in the Chaco province. Aerolineas Argentinas continues to increase connectivity at federal level to fulfill its social role of uniting Argentines.

Buenos Aires, June 3, 2016. Aerolíneas Argentinas informs that from August will begin flying a new route from Buenos Aires to Rio Cuarto via Cordoba as well as a new service between this city and Resistencia in the province of Chaco.

With 5 weekly frequencies, Aerolíneas will cover the Aeroparque- Rio Cuarto- Córdoba-- Río Cuarto- Aeroparque route, while the service that will link the capital of Cordoba with Resistencia will offer 2 frequencies per week. In both cases, the flag carrier will use modern Embraer 190 aircraft, which have capacity for 96 passengers and state-of-the-art onboard entertainment system.

In this regard, the Minister of Transport Guillermo Dietrich said, "We are working every day to further unite Argentines and improve the connectivity of cities and regions. From our flag carrier, we want to offer more options. This is part of a national-level policy, which seeks over the next four years to double domestic flights, reaching 20 million passengers a year".

In early April, Aerolíneas announced an 18% growth in its domestic flight offering, with new connections to continue offering new routes there where opportunities to develop our service offering are seen.
