Aerolíneas Group informs its passengers

16/09/2016

The Aerolíneas Group informs its passengers that at 12 noon, APLA and UALA, the two Aerolíneas and Austral’s pilot unions have respectively ended the strike that began yesterday at 8 pm.

The strike left 18,000 passengers without flights in 223 national and international air segments, not to mention the huge losses that will be suffered by the company to resolve this situation. Moreover, operations will slowly normalize over the next few days, depending on the available capacity to do so.

In some cases, this could take up to four days for domestic flights and one week for international flights, given the large number of passengers to re-accommodate.

For this reason, we ask passengers to check the status of their flights by calling the call center or visiting the aerolíneas website before traveling to the airport. They can also apply for re-accommodation at the point of sale where the ticket was purchased.

We apologize again for the inconveniences and reaffirm our intention to restore service as quickly as possible.
