Aerolineas Argentinas received today its new Airbus 330-200 at the Ezeiza International Airport being the first of seven aircraft included after an agreement for a financing of 280 million dollars. The financing, which so far was carried out in two tranches for an amount of 134 million dollars was at 6.23% and 6.34% fixed rates for a period of eight years.

This agreement reached by Aerolíneas and the PK Airfinance company, the financing arm of General Electric Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS) comprises, in addition to this plane received today, a new Airbus 330-200 aircraft that will be received in October this year, three Boeing 737-800 aircraft that will be added to the fleet until 2018 and the change of the existing funding of two Airbus A 330-200 which were acquired last year.

The effort of a great team allows us to celebrate today the arrival of this Airbus 330, keeping us on the path of sustainability and the same time to continue working to transport more and more passengers and offering an increasingly better service”.

"We initiated a responsible financing way with very convenient rates for these and other aircraft, to continue increasing the number of Argentines connected and with a better onboard service. We are building a competitive and reliable company with the best professionals in the sector and with the goal of connecting all Argentines through more routes and more frequencies", said Guillermo Dietrich, Minister of Transport of the Nation.

With regard to aircraft configuration, the cabin has two classes divided into 24 seats in Club Condor (the Aerolineas Argentinas Business Class) and 243 seats in Economy. Each seat is also equipped with the most modern Panasonic (eX3) entertainment system that provides audio and video on-demand to passengers in both classes.
