During February, Aerolineas Argentinas achieved 85% punctuality on its domestic, regional and international operations, three points higher than same month last year. This marks a new record of punctuality for the sixth consecutive week, outperforming the competition.
The figure becomes more important because in the second month this year the company flew 11% more segments than in February last year and the number of passengers carried grew by 18%. Aerolíneas has gone from carrying 816,611 passengers in February 2015 to 965,629 last month, exceeding the trend of the last six months of 2015: 950 thousand passengers carried per month.
The 81% Occupancy Rate, two points higher than in February 2015 is also significant.
Moreover, flight cancellations decreased by 46% in February compared to the same month last year; the main reasons for cancellation were air traffic and meteorology.
The regularity was 99.1%, one point higher than in the second month of 2015.
These data show that Aerolineas Argentinas consolidates its operational levels month by month, providing better service to its passengers.
