Aerolineas Argentinas opens new corporate headquarters for Spain and Europe

The new location will allow a more efficient use of the new technologies. From this new location, trade coordination services will be provided to countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Madrid, July 5, 2017. Aerolíneas Argentinas yesterday opened its new corporate headquarters in Spain. The old office at 12 Princesa has become in 278 square meters on the 13th floor of the Picasso Tower, in the corporate area of ​​Paseo de la Castellana, next to the legendary Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, home of Real Madrid. In addition to Spain, the new office will coordinate business management in 35 countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Moira Wilkinson, Argentine consul in Madrid, and other national representatives along with officials from the Spanish Aviation Authority (AESA), travel agents, staff and crew of the flag carrier attended the ceremony.

The need for changing to the new location is consequence of the evolution of the business model the company has been developing in recent years, based on the use of new technologies and improvement of workspaces. The new digital technologies currently being implemented by Aerolineas Argentinas globally and the permanent search for savings opportunities have been determinant factors for this change.

Thus, Aerolineas moves its offices to a smaller space and according to the current needs, located in a modern building, with the latest technological and security advances. The tower offers an event room with capacity for 200 people and an auditorium for 50 people equipped with the latest technology for presentations and videoconferences. The new location allows easy access to all kinds of means of transportation.

Aerolíneas currently connects Argentina to Europe with daily flights from Madrid and Rome and 5 weekly flights to Barcelona, ​​totaling 19 weekly frequencies in each direction.
