Aerolíneas informs its passengers about the Dengue and Zika epidemic

05/02/2016

Given the facts of public knowledge, we inform our passengers the type of repellents that may be carried on our flights.

These include CREAM repellent, either in carry-on baggage and/or hold (checked) baggage, or AEROSOL repellent (only the one that is sprayed on persons, not in the air).

In this latter case, it will be checked into the hold.

The number of items allowed per passenger is 2 kg/L in total, including personal hygiene items.

Moreover, the different containers may not exceed 0.5 kg/L each on domestic flights, while in regional / international flights, CREAM items in carry-on baggage may not exceed 0.1 kg/L per container (100 ml).

Transport of spray insect repellent is prohibited for on board safety reasons.

We ask our passengers to comply with these provisions related to everyone's safety.

Our customer service staff is available to advise on this issue and clear up any doubts that may arise.
