Aerolineas Argentinas, the Ministry of Tourism of the Nation and ANSES signed an agreement that provides benefits to retirees and pensioners for traveling to all destinations in the country served by the flag carrier.

Thus, retirees and pensioners will have a 30% discount on the prices published by the Company on flights to 36 domestic destinations serviced by Aerolineas Argentinas.

The agreement was signed by the Minister of Tourism, Lic. Gustavo Santos; the head of Aerolineas Argentinas, Isela Costantini and the Executive Director of ANSES, Emilio Basavilbaso.

At the signing ceremony, Minister Santos said, "This measure is a contribution of tourism to the national government's decision to implement the delayed historical reparation for retirees and pensioners. The strategy seeks to articulate supply and demand; and boost tourism activity in all destinations during low season".

For her part, Isela Costantini said, "We work hard to improve the company’s competitiveness. Through agreements such as this, we seek to bring the aircraft as a means of transport closer to more people. We want them to fly with Aerolíneas and choose us again".

The head of the ANSES said, "We are very pleased with the results we get working together. The purpose of this agreement is to extend the benefits for our retirees and pensioners so they can travel to different destinations in our country. We continue working with different ministries to improve the quality of life of our seniors".

Beneficiaries will be able to access a presale (minimum seven days) with initial stay of two nights, through the www.aerolineas.com.ar/anses website by entering their DNI (National Identity Document) number, with which ANSES will validate their retiree data.

This benefit program, like the developed by foreign commercial air companies, aims to boost the traffic in low season to those who have availability to travel on any day of the week. Better prices are always available flying on Tuesday to Thursday.

In addition to promoting and developing tourism within the country, this agreement will make more retirees and pensioners may have access to tourist or recreational destinations through Aerolíneas Argentinas flights.
