This province belongs to the North region. It is a flat land with an inclination northwest – southwest; rivers Dulce y Salado run through it. Religion is very deeply –rooted, and the congregation show their faith in harmony, combining ordinary sanctuaries with pagan festivities (the native inhabitants’ celebrations). The province displays some historic temples that are part of our great historic-religious heritage.
