Requirements for the 'Permission / Authorization for Trip' for departure or arrival of minors to/from the Argentine Republic.
According to Regulation No. 31100/2005, that modifies Section 2 of the Resolution 2895/85 issued by the National Migration Bureau, it is valid from August, 16th, 2005 a new rule about the “Methods of authorization” for the departure or arrival of minors of the country, according to Memorandum No. 1662/2005. This new rule stipulates that the authorizations carried out before Notary Public, Judges or other authorities that issue permissions must adjust to the following:

When the minor were 0 to 6 years old, traveling alone, obligatorily, will have to specify the destination of his/her trip, name, surname type and number of identity card in the authorization, as well as the domicile of the Person Receiving the minor. Aerolíneas Argentinas / Austral do not permit minors who are from 0 years old to 5 years old (not being 5 yet) to travel alone. Minors will be allowed to travel alone only being 5 years onwards. Without prejudice to what has been indicated, in the previous paragraph, in the case of minors of 6 years old, that travel alone or accompanied by third parties over 18 years old who were not one of his/her parents, they will have to be registered in a special registry that to such effect the National Migrations Bureau will carry out.. |

Whenever the minor being 6 to 14 years old, were traveling alone, the place of destination of the trip, the name and surname, type and number of identity card as well as the domicile of the Person Receiving the minor shall be specified obligatorily in the authorization. |

When the minor were 14 to 18 years old, traveling alone, the place of destination of the trip shall be obligatorily specified in the authorization. |

In case the minor were from 0 to 6 years old traveling without his/her parents, accompanied by a third party of legal age, it will have to be compulsorily specified in the authorization or permission of departure the place of destination, the name and surname, the type of identity card and its number as well as the domicile of the Person of legal age traveling as a Companion. Without prejudice to what has been indicated in the previous paragraph, in the case of minors being 6 years old, that travel alone or accompanied by third parties of age who were not his/her parents, they will have to be registered in a special registry that to such effect the National Migrations Bureau will carry. |

When the minor involved were 6 to 18 years old, accompanied by third parties of legal age, he/she will compulsorily have to specify the place of destination, the name and last name, the type and number of identity card in the authorization, as well as the domicile of the Accompanying person. |

When the minor were under 18 to 21 years old, traveling alone or accompanied by third parties of legal age, taking into account that this period of age has not been amended in the new rule, the permissions issued before August, 16th, 2005 shall also be accepted. |

As from February 12, 2006, minors under 18 years of age that need a visa to enter the United Kingdom and that are traveling as visitors, must have a visa endorsed as “Child Visitor”.

Such a visa can be issued for accompanied and unaccompanied minors.

CHILD VISITOR VISA FOR UNACCOMPANIED MINOR:
It allows the Child to travel on his/her own to the United Kingdom. Also, it allows for the possibility of the child traveling with an adult. |

CHILD VISITOR VISA FOR ACCOMPANIED MINOR:
Valid only for those minors who travel with the adult(s) whose name(s) is (are) endorsed on the visa. NO other adult can act as the child’s accompanying adult. |

These types of Visas do not apply to
|

Children under 18 who had their visas issued before February 12, 2006. |

Visas that aren’t Child Visitor visas, such as student visa. |

Once the child turns 18, the Child Visitor visa shall be accepted as a Visitor’s visa. |

They should compulsorily travel with their parents or by persons in charge, without the right to occupy a seat.
|

Only one Infant can travel with each adult passenger.
|
 |
The trip is not advisable for newborn babies up to 7 (seven) days of life. |
 |
For safety reasons, Infants can't be transported by using a mobile car baby-seat, provided by the passenger.

Check-in system will automatically assign for an adult traveling with an infant a seat with a double oxygen mask.

INFANTS FARES
Domestic: Free fare (at no cost, without the right to occupy a seat) Regional/International: 10% of the fare that applies to adults plus taxes and surcharges (without the right to occupy a seat).

GENERAL INFORMATION
- Minors among 2 and 5 years old (not being 5 yet), will have to travel obligatorily accompanied by their parents or by a responsible person in charge of them. The service for Non-Accompanied Minor shall not be permitted.
- Minors from 5 to 12 years old (not being 12 yet) will be able to travel alone requesting obligatorily the Service for Non- Accompanied Minors.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
• Regional and International flights:
- For the child leaving the country without parents or with only one of them should make a travel authorization, legalized by a notary public or judge.
- For the child leaving the country accompanied by both parents must be submitted marriage document or birth certificate.
• For domestic flights is not required authorization above detailed above. |

Non-accompanied Minor He/she will pay the CHD fare applicable according to the respective regulation.

Non Accompanied Minor (From 5 years old onwards they will be allowed to travel alone requesting the Service of Non Accompanied Minor)

Traveling alone in Domestic Flights: He/she will pay the CHD fare, i.e., respecting the corresponding discount to the applied fare, plus an additional charge for the Service of Non accompanied Minor. Said charge is collected per segment and per passenger. Domestic Flights Route: 15 dollars

Traveling alone in Regional/International flights: He/she will pay the CHD fare, i.e., respecting the corresponding discount to the applied fare, plus an additional charge for the Service of Non-Accompanied Minor which may vary, according to the destination. Said charge shall be collected per segment and per passenger.

Regional Routes (bordering countries with Argentina): 30 dollars.

NON ACCOMPANIED MINOR FORM |

- Unaccompanied minors: they shall submit their ID and a travel authorization signed by their parents before a Notary Public or a Justice of the Peace.
- Minors traveling with a relative or friend: they shall submit the ID of all passengers and a travel authorization signed by their parents before a Notary Public or a Justice of the Peace where there must appear the personal information of the adult responsible for the minor.
- Minors traveling with their parents: they shall submit the ID of all passengers, birth certificate and marriage booklet in order to prove the relationship with the minor.
- Minors traveling with one of their parents: they shall submit the ID of all passengers, birth certificate and marriage booklet in order to prove the relationship with the minor.

- Unaccompanied Minors: They shall present the IDs and a written travel authorization signed by the parents before by a notary public or justice of the peace.
- Minors traveling with a relative or friend: They shall present all passengers' IDs and a written travel authorization signed by the parents before a notary public or justice of the peace stating the personal information of the adult accompanying the minor.
- Minors traveling with their parents: They shall present all passengers' IDs, birth and marriage certificates so as to prove filiation.
- Minors traveling with one of the parents: They shall present all passengers' IDs, birth and marriage certificates so as to prove filiation.
