Due to security reasons, it is prohibited the trasnport of the following elements inside your baggage.

Infectious substances and samples for diagnosis. |

Compressed and inflammable gases, no inflammable and toxic: gas bottles, cylinders of compressed gas, aerosols or diving air tanks. |

Corrosive (acids, alkaline): humid cells batteries. |
 |
Explosives: weapons, munitions o materials de pyrotechnics. |
 |
inflammable Liquids or solids: Alcohol gel sanitizer, combustible for lighters matches and articles which are easy to ignite. |
 |
Radioactive Materials. |
 |
Oxidizing or Irritating Materials: whitener agents, peroxide, bleach or hydrogen peroxide. |
 |
From January, 1st, 2008, it is prohibited the transportation of loose lithium batteries in the dispatched baggage in flights from/to and over USA. It will only be permitted its transportation if they are installed in its corresponding electronic devices as a laptop or digital camera. |

The safety briefcases which add lithium batteries or pyrotechnical devices are strictly forbidden. |

Those devices which could paralyze such as tear gas, hot aerosols, etc. which contain any irritating or paralyzing substance is also absolutely prohibited |

All appliances or equipments which may contain mercury can not be carried as baggage, with the exception of a barometer, transported by a meteorological service representative in a trip of an official nature (only as a hand baggage) and a small clinical thermometer for personal usage in its protective container. |

Be advised that, as of November 8th, 2010, it is not permitted to transport printer cartridges or toner cartridges weighing 453 grams ( or greater on flights to the United States as carry-on or checked baggage. They must be shipped as cargo, therefore, please contact our cargo department to do so. |

Aerosols in little quantities, necessary for the passenger during the flight, such as: hair spray, perfumes, colognes and medicines which contain alcohol.

You may transport a maximum of 5 (five) litres of alcoholic beverages per person as checked baggage. Alcoholic beverages boxes must be thermosealed and checked as limited released baggage. AeroHandling personell shall verify the packaging, and, if they had received any box not properly thermosealed at the baggage area, they shall return it to the Ckeck-in Counters for its proper acceptance.
